What have I done?

Have you ever done all you could to stay sane and make it through, but have it blow up in your face?

Have you ever fought so hard to overcome something just to lose it in the end?

I've lost. It's all gone. I got some things I wanted, but in such a terrible manner that the small gains are small and empty in comparison to the shadowing loss.

Fuck, what have I done?

In my efforts to overcome that which has driven me to the breaking point, I have demolished the very obstacle and hurt someone I care for.

It's made me realize what I have and value, what I want and don't need, and that Aidyn really will always be there for me.
